This partnership has been formed to take SIP’s innovative Solar and Non-Solar energy magnifications solutions to the next stage of development.  Working together to move the SIP solution from the conclusive bench test and take this to the field test stage where it will be able to relies in a larger installation the increase between 35% to 50% and beyond it has achieved with the bench test in a real world environment and timely onto commercial implementation into the wider global arena.   

This will also allow the business to open by its self-up to potential funding partners and the investment required to make this vision a commercial reality on the back of proven demonstrable data substantiating the efficiency forecasts and the strong ROI.

Garner Varlik Designer has prepared a short presentation summarizing the current situation with exciting recent developments to do with Stressed and Non-Performing Assets.

In the process of hastening the resolution of NPAs/Stressed Assets, the Government of India has proposed setting up new independent Asset Management Companies (AMCs) to deal with companies having a value of Rs. 500 crores (~ $ 70 million). In response, multiple well-known organizations are in discussion with Indian banks. They are also in touch with Indian Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs). This trend indicates the start of great business potential.

Garner Varlik Designer is a consulting firm specializing in Project Management and Consulting Engineers started four years ago with a view to offering Value Added Services for industries that have become sick for various reasons. Financial institutions repossess these Stressed Assets and take them to auction with a view to recouping their investment. In reality, however, without servicing the sick unit, they find it difficult to get what is due. On detailed analysis, it is clear that there is a need to do service for value addition for the benefit of the industry (lender, owner) to serve the purpose intended by each unit. The quantum of work is significant, with total NPAs in industry valued to the extent of Rs 9,00,000 crores! Stressed Assets in the power industry alone are worth about Rs. 3,50,000 crores.

It is now understood that the Government of India, RBI and financial institutes are on the path to finding alternative approaches to the normal resolution of Stressed Assets, with a view to ensure value addition and also to sustain the jobs generated by the Assets. In this process, as an expert team with senior professionals, we at Garner Varlik Designer can extend our support to improve the production capability of an Asset (machine/equipment/system), so as to ensure value addition and continuation of jobs along with the Asset, i.e. rehabilitation of the stressed units with the adoption of updated technological processes and total quality management.

There is a need for integration of systems for operations instead of salvaging piece by piece. For example, today’s projection of surplus power may turn out to be a shortage after two to three years with added infrastructure and the economy drive taking place in general, and the demand for electrical vehicle charging in particular. The addition of housing alone (18 million units) will raise the demand by 9000 MW. Economists are foreseeing 5 -6 % extra demand in the future up to 2030, and the total requirement will be about 860 GW (860000 MW) in place of the current 350 GW. Realistic solutions lie in balancing the thermal and renewable energy sources to manage the grid and also the normal load to peak loads in varying seasons (summer to winter/rainy).

Rehabilitation by seeking alternative approaches to salvage will be the need of the hour in the interests of our nation’s growth.

On 15^th June 2018, top management of Garner Varlik Designer met at Head office to review various business activities for the past one year and the future plans. At the back drop of Government of India initiative to add 500GW (5,00,000 MW) Renewable Energy up to 2030, which means 360GW Solar Energy and 140GW Wind Power, the meeting was held under the guidance of Mr.S.P.Mathai who is the Chief Advisor & Consultant for Garner Varlik Designer. The meeting was attended by the Mr.K.Krishna Murthy, CEO & Chief Consultant, Mr.K.Rangasai, Project Advisor & Consultant and other team members.  The top management has reviewed the activities of last one year in the areas of Project Management & Consulting Engineers for Power, Steel, and Cement & Infra.

It has been decided that Garner Varlik Designer shall intensify its business activities for future in Renewable Energy, Stress Asset Management & Resolution of the same for prospective Projects. It was also resolved to enter into Solar Project Consultancy activities in India and Overseas, The working executives have been advised to pursue Tie-up with established players in Solar Projects in the areas of Technology, Engineering Management, Supply Chain Management and Field Management in the coming year for future demand and for better edge in business development.

Since, Garner Varlik Designer has been registered with Government of India, with Ministry of Micro  Small and Medium Industries, we are pursuing for the their consent to conduct more Training Programs for Human Resource Development.  (UPDATE: We are pleased to report that as of 06/07/2018, we have received approval from the Ministry). Our objective is to interface our existing training programs with the Ministry programs for enhancing the development of knowledge and skills of the participants. Counseling and career guidance shall be integral part our training programs.

On 28th May 2018, GVD team of Power plant experts went to a power plant near to Hyderabad. This inspection was carried out at the request of the Plant owners.
